Post-war industrial construction relied heavily on asbestos cement for roofing, cladding, and guttering — it was cheap, lightweight, and weather-resistant. Decades of exposure to weather, vibration, and mechanical damage mean many of these sheets are now degraded, cracked, and releasing fibres. As a duty holder, you have a legal obligation to manage this risk. We work efficiently at height with scaffold and MEWP access, removing large quantities of asbestos cement safely and disposing of it at licensed facilities. We can also replace the roof with modern profiled steel sheeting on the same visit, eliminating the need for a second contractor.
